Half Double Crochet: meaning and how to work it

A stitch between single and double crochet in height. It makes a softer fabric that works up quickly, good for cardigans, hats and blankets.

How to work it

  1. Yarn over once.
  2. Insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. You have 3 loops on the hook.
  3. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
