Slip Stitch: meaning and how to work it

The shortest stitch, adding almost no height. It's used to close a round, move along without cutting the yarn, and join two pieces.

How to work it

  1. Insert the hook into the stitch.
  2. Yarn over.
  3. Pull through the stitch and the loop on the hook in one movement.
